I got it! i will write about winter. It is a simple time, covered in white and a blank canvas. Anything can suddenly happen and then the canvas changes. It is a brilliant idea! I can't believe I didn't think about this before.

My new Haiku is beginning to come together. I didn't have any inspiration in writing, but I figured i should sit around outside, and let my mind wander around. I got onto the topic of nature and how complex and yet simple it is. It is always changing with time. Yet, it is so simple, trying to survive during winter, and prospering during summer.

Well, today marks a new day as a writer. I never knew that the pressures of being a writer was so different than school. I don't have to worry about due dates, but I have to worry about what I have to write about. How do I start a Haiku? a Tanka? I don't know how it should sound or how it ends. This is going to be a great experience...
